Fifteen years ago we discovered the then new and small Grower Champagne movement. They were the antithesis of the large, well marketed Champagne houses, making wines from grapes they grew. There was no fancy marketing, few exorbitant prices, just wine that opened our eyes to what Champagne could really be.
