I have long known that Elisabetta Fagiuoli is a force of nature. How else can her wines be better than ever even as she recently celebrated her 90^th birthday? While best known for her beautiful Vernaccias, we have fallen in love with her very Italian Rosato, and this year there is more available than in the past. 

The wine is 100% Canaiuolo, mostly used as a blending grape in the region. Here you have a crisp, mineral driven wine with tart red fruit character that is as refreshing as any rosé in the store (just 12% alcohol, yay!). It screams for lightly grilled vegetables drizzled with olive oil, grilled bread drizzled with olive oil, or the best sausages you can find.
