Vieux Chevrol Lalande de Pomerol 2020

Located just to the north of the famed Pomerol, Jean-Pierre Champseix aided by his son Michel now steward in this 20-hectare vineyard in the lieu-dit of Chevrol, perched on the famous Neac plateau that overlooks Pomerol. Comprised roughly of 80% Merlot and equal parts Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, hailing from Organic vineyards, this Bordeaux has been a store favorite for years. Slightly structured with chocolate, cherries and tilled earth, this shows great weight and acid on the finish, perfect for these cold days.
