Rosso Bacher, Langhe Nebbiolo, 2024

Today we are going back to our roots with wines from a region close to my heart: Piedmont (surprise!). We will taste three three Nebbiolos – two new arrivals and an old favorite.The Produttori del Barbaresco Langhe Nebbiolo is an old friend that I revisited after not having drunk it for some time. It reminded me why I love this winery so much and I want to share it with you again. It is also a nod to the fact that Aldo Vacca, a friend and the longtime director of the Produttori, has just retired. It is the end of an era for a man that is so important to his region. After that we will pour the second vintage we have had from Paolo Giordano, located in Perno (Barolo). This has become one of our favorites, old school in all the best ways. We will finish with new producer Rosso Bacher, the project of Marisa Bacher, a rising star in the region.
