Gavi, the wine, and Cortese the grape, are a bit of a forgotten story in the Piedmont region, eclipsed by the popularity of the Arneis grape. But the Rinaldi family has not given up on this native grape and for that we are very glad.

In their hands they have produced a wine with so much more character than other Gavi’s, if you can find them. This wine has more texture, more flavor, more complexity than many white wines in its price range, which explains why it has quietly become one of our best selling whites in the shop.
