Riecine Chianti Classico 2023 - Gaiole, Tuscany

This wine had me from the moment I smelled it.  Classic Tuscan Sangiovese, full of the aroma of Tuscany, fresh tilled earth, brambly fruit and whiffs of herbs. Once I tasted it  I knew that I had to get this in front of you. This comes from the higher altitudes in Gaiole, and like its counterpart in Radda and Greve there is a tension between all the elements that is unique to Chianti. 

There's quite a lot of good, quaffable Chianti, but there is not a lot like this wine, and it often costs much more!
