Pinard is a long time favorite. His wines, even in warmer vintages, show grace and elegance. In a cooler vintage such as 2021, these attributes are very present, but there is beautiful snappy acidity that harkens back to the “old days” of Sancerre. Given that Pinard is a small producer, and 2021 a small crop I do not expect this to last long.
