And to continue the Loire Valley theme, I would be remiss if I did not tell you of the arrival of the 2024 Sancerre “Flores” from Vincent Pinard, a personal favorite. 2024 was a tough vintage in Sancerre but Pinard succeeded in making what I call a throwback Sancerre, sleek, racy and elegant. I tasted it, but I cannot wait to drink a bottle!
