Albariño is on the cusp of being commodified, but this is not an example of that. This is an example of just how good this grape can be when grown in the right place and not being over manipulated in the wine making process. Here we have riveting acidity balanced by fresh orchard fruit and minerality. So good and so not expensive. 

Thanks to the folks at Canlis for pouring this by the glass, which led a customer to come looking for it, which led us to ask our salesperson why we had not tasted it. He’s glad we finally did.
