Located in the southwest of the Juliénas appellation this parcel features

soils of pierres bleues, a small granite vein, and some sandy loam. A

longer maceration (13 days) is used here with a total of 3 punch downs.

Intensity is amped up giving this effort a more composed profile and

aromatic complexity. Vibrant and ripe red fruits are kept in check by

juicy acidity and subtle peppery notes. With more maceration time and

10 months élevage there is greater texture, tannin structure, and a

much longer finish reverberating its core.
