In 2018 Aldo Conterno of the famous Giacomo Conterno Barolo house, who at the time was an unofficial advisor and good friend to Nervi, purchased the historic estate with the idea of keeping it as-is. True to his word the estate has retained its original charm. Hailing from their three crus, Molsino, Garavogile, and Casacce, and grown on volcanic and clay soils and brought up for three years in large botte, this is classic Nebbiolo, with hints of violets, thyme, red fruit framed with roses. This is easily drunk now or can be held for 10-15 years.
