Marcel Lapierre was an icon in Beaujolais, and had much to do with turning into the most organic region in France with wines that were made with minimal intervention and no additives. When he passed away many, including us, wondered what would happen to the wine, and how would the new regime handle the changing climate and its effects on the grapes. 

Well, Marcels’ children Camille and Mathieu took the reins and began producing wines every bit as good, and dare I say  maybe better, than their father did. The past few vintages have been so pure, so balanced they were almost ethereal.
