We sell, and I drink, a lot of white Burgundy. There was a time when the “famous” wines of the
region, (Puligny Montrachet, Meursault) were affordable enough that I could drink an occasional bottle. Today that is much less likely, if I can even find, say, top Puligny Montrachet. But when I tasted this a few weeks back I was struck by how Puligny like it was, and at a price I could afford (Jomain is in Puligny Montrachet). And unlike past vintages, there is a bit more on hand so that I am able to include it in this email.
