Vespolina is a native grape to the region (likely a relative of Nebbiolo) and if you tasted it blind you might guess it to be Nebbiolo. The alcohol is 13.5%, compared to their Nebiolo’s 12.5%, so it shows a touch more weight but still shows its Alpine heritage with beautifully focused flavors of red fruit, spice and anise.
