Now from my favorite region in Italy, Piedmont, i have news of the imminent arrival of two wines from Paolo Giodano, a rising star in Piedmont. His wines are beautifully balanced and manage to be classic in flavor but with softer tannins than a true old school producer. Also available for the great 2021 vintage is the Paolo Giordano Barolo Perno 2021 ($105 SWS $89.25)
