This wine has long been a staple at the shop but we cannot remember a vintage as tasty as this one. The robust Montepulciano grape receives a lighter pressing, resulting in a wine that, while 14% alcohol, exhibits a lighter color, a more delicate red fruit and dried herb aroma, a softer texture and more subtle flavors than a full on Montepulciano. 

This makes the wine an ideal candidate to be served at a cool temperature on a summer’s eve, along with your favorite pizza, cured meats and cheese, grilled meats, roasted eggplant dishes or even grilled King Salmon.
