After a several year absence we are happy to announce that a Berêche has returned to Pike and Western. Today we feature their entry level Brut Reserve, and it serves as a great reintroduction to this top Champagne house. In the time they have been out of the Seattle market their reputation has grown, and while many of their cuvees have become more expensive, their Reserve bottling is a still great value in the world of quality Champagne.

The base wine in this bottling is 2022 blended with a percentage of their Reserve Wines The wine is fermented in wood, with native yeasts and sees 30 plus months on cork, when it is hand disgorged. Their house style captures the richness that barrel fermentation provides, along with the acid that not putting the wine through malolactic gives. It’s a great bottling, and we are pleased to add it to our awesome Grower Champagne selection.
