The vineyards are nestled in a picturesque area between the Maiella mountains and the Adriatic Sea which results in a unique microclimate with very diverse soil. Hand-picked, pressed, macerated for 7-15 days at a controlled temperature, aged in steel vats for at least 6 months and then 2 months in the bottle. certified biodynamic / hand harvested. Notes of dark prune, blackberry and slight cocoa while the palate receives a rush of black cherry, plum and dried oregano. Pair it with grilled grass fed & finished New York steak with celery root purée, leek scapes, confit potatoes, and red wine shallot butter.
