Well, sort of overlooked. We chose this for our premium wine club recently because we were impressed when we tasted it, but I had never taken it home to drink it. The dinner was an impromptu one with a tasty pasta dish and friends, not wine geeks like myself. But when we tasted it they said; Whoa, what is this?” They did not know Etna wines but they did know when something was good. As air got to it the wine opened up, showing off the classic Etna volcanic character enrobed in gorgeous proof and I thought “Damn!” My wife commented, “I need more of this in my life.” The best news? It is $40, a steal for an excellent Etna red.
